A Karshi Grade I House Courtroom, Abuja, on Wednesday ordered {that a} 34-year-old attendant, Anyuzgi David, who allegedly absconded along with his employers N4.Four million, be remanded in jail.

The pass judgement on, Anas Isah, who didn’t admit the defendant to bail, ordered that he be remanded in Keffi jail.

Mr Isah adjourned the case till Sept. 11 for listening to.

Previous, the police charged David, who is living in Markurdi, Benue, with 3 counts of felony breach of believe via a servant, robbery via servant and felony misappropriation.

The prosecution recommend, Ayotunde Adeyanju, advised the courtroom that the complainant, Kenechukwu Ezekwueme, of Karu Abuja, reported the topic on the Karu Police Station, on August 9.

He alleged that the grievance hired the defendant as a POS Unit supervisor in his corporate in Markurdi, to maintain deposit and withdrawal of cash.

Mr Adeyanju alleged that on July 7, the defendant used to be given N 4.Four million to deposit in Get right of entry to financial institution however he dishonestly transformed the cash to his private use.

The prosecution alleged that right through the investigation, he admitted that he stole the cash and gave it to a cash ritualist who promised to assist “double” it.

The offence, he mentioned, contravened the provisions of sections 314, 289 and 309 of the Penal Code.
